Marriage is honorable in all(Heb 13:4). Marriage is a holy constitution between a man and a woman.
Two different personalities/individuals from different backgrounds are united in this holy matrimony.
Usually it takes a while for both partners to adjust. Man thinks differently than woman. So, it takes not just months but years for both to understand and adjust to other person needs.
In India, arranged marriages are the most common. Parents choose the spouse for their son or daughter. Choosing a right spouse has always been a difficult task for the parents in the past and that continues to exist.
As many see, marriage is not a bed of roses everyday of our walk. That’s a new beginning in the newly weds. Once the couple are married and have taken oath in the presence of God, bible clearly says that they are bound by the law to stay together. Ideally, only death should dissolve the marriage.(Romans7:2,3). Marriage is like a permanent bond between man and woman on this earth.
The principle ingredient for a marriage to work is love. Even if there is a slight opportunity for ego, pride, unfaithfulness or any other deceptive reasons that crops in one of the partners, marriage could be at stake. Marriage should be build on an open communication platform. Marriage is God’s idea.
